Here is an update about what has been going on in my class for the week!
In Algebra, we are working on Chapter 4. We have been working on Direct Variation this week. I have posted a website for help on direct variation for students and parents under the Parent Resources section. We are beginning Slope Intercept form (section 4.6), and we will be continuing this section for the rest of the week! During class, the students have been watching funny videos with songs to help them remember slope intercept form and how to graph them.
In Pre-Algebra, we are continuing our work on Pythagorean Theorem. We have done multiple open responses and real life problems during class. We have also been working on some more challenging perimeter problems that involve Pythagorean Theorem. I have posted a website under the Parent Resources section for help on Pythagorean Theorem.
