Week of January 14

Hi All,

We have a lot going on this week in my math classes.

Period 3: Quiz corrections are due tomorrow on your Transformation Quizzes.  You need to bring them to me during Homeroom if you want your updated quiz grade to be in for progress reports.
Homework: Tonight, you need to fix your index cards with the rules on them for your quiz on Thursday.

Tomorrow, we will be completing an activity in class that combine rotations and reflections in the coordinate plane.  You will be reviewing again for homework, which is a worksheet on these transformations.

Wednesday in class, we will be doing stations to review each type of transformation one more time!  For homework, you should finish the stations work to study for your quiz on Thursday!

Thursday, QUIZ on transformations in the coordinate plane.

Friday, we will start talking about dilations, the last type of transformation.

Period 4 & 6: Quiz corrections were due to me today during homeroom on 5.1-5.3 Quiz.
Homework: We are starting review for our math test on Chapter 5.  You must complete your choice board worksheet by solving 8 of the problems.  If you would like to do more, it can only help you review, although only 8 are required.

Tomorrow, we will be reviewing in class again.  You will have an opportunity to check your answers to the choice board homework, as well as the review sheet that you worked on in class today.  We will do a few more problems for review to ensure that you are prepared for your test on Wednesday!

Wednesday, TEST on Chapter 5.

Thursday, Your classes earned a "WE DID OUR HOMEWORK" PARTY!!!

Friday, we will start Chapter 6, with section 6.1.

Period 5: Quiz corrections are due tomorrow morning during homeroom on Angle Pairs, Triangle Congruence Quiz.  If you want your update quiz grade to be on progress reports, you must bring them to me during homeroom.

Tomorrow, we have a QUIZ on the three types of symmetry: translations, rotations, and reflections
