Weekly Update
Hi All!
Yesterday, Monday, we began our discussion on area of two-dimensional shapes. We started with chapter 9.1, area of a parallelogram. We took notes, and then did problems around the classroom! For homework: Page 667 #13-23. ALEKS due Sunday by midnight.
Tuesday Classwork and Homework: We worked on 9.2 Area of a Triangle. We took notes and then played online BINGO! For homework, Page 679 #13-22, ALEKS due Sunday by midnight. Quiz Friday
Wednesday Classwork and Homework: We will work on 9.3 Area of a Trapezoid. We will take notes and then play ZAP! For homework, Page 691 #15-23, SKIP #18 & 19, ALEKS due Sunday by midnight. Quiz Friday
Thursday Classwork and Homework: We will review for the quiz that is Friday. You will work on the review sheet in class. For homework, complete the quizizz for review. Use code: 663436. Check your answers to your review sheet on the blog! I will post the answers by 3 pm on Thursday.

Update for the Week and Answer Key for Ch 7 Review Sheet
Hi All!
Here is what we have going on this week:
Today in class, you worked on your review sheet. You need to finish it for homework tonight. I will attach the answers to the bottom of this post. UPDATE: I MADE AN ERROR ON #10====ANSWER SHOULD BE 120, not 130!!
Wednesday Classwork and Homework: We will work in class on word problems related to Ch 7, Solving Equations. Your only homework Wednesday will be to check your answers for your review sheet and make sure you are prepared for your test on Thursday.

Homework Monday: Page 517 in the Volume 2 Math book
Homework Tuesday: Solving Equations worksheet--finish from class
Homework Wednesday: Finish word problems from class
Reminder: ALEKS due Sunday at midnight, Chapter 4 test corrections due Tuesday of next week.
I will be available on Thursday after school until 3pm to help with test corrections.
