Hi All!

Today we started chapter 2, which is about Fractions, Decimals, and Percents!

We began 2.1, which is how to change decimals to fractions and then how to change fractions to decimals. Today, we only worked on how to change decimals to fractions.

For homework, complete Lesson 1 Homework practice #1-9 and the 2 word problems.

Reminder: 10 topic goal for ALEKS due Friday by midnight.

There will be a folder check this week, on either Thursday or Friday! Please see the picture below for how to organize your folder!

Hi All!

Today, we worked on and finished our word problem project about decimals. If you were absent, you must turn it in by the end of the school day tomorrow!

There is a 5 topic ALEKS goal due by tomorrow at midnight.

Tomorrow, we will be reviewing place value and playing BINGO! to practice. There will be no homework tomorrow night, except for to finish your ALEKS if you have not finished it by then.

Hi All!

This week, we have been focusing on division. We started with dividing multi-digit numbers, and then dividing whole number by decimal. We will begin our work on dividing decimals by decimals tomorrow!

For homework tonight, complete Page 237 #17-25.

Test on Chapter 3 is Wednesday of next week. I am staying after school for a review session from 2-3 on Tuesday of next week! Please plan accordingly if you would like to stay after school! There is a late bus on Tuesday.

Hi All!

In class today, I handed back the Ch 1 tests from last week. We discussed how to do test corrections. Test corrections will be due Thursday of next week. I am available for help on Monday of next week after school until 3pm, if you'd like help on the corrections!

We also went over how to multiply decimals by decimals.
