Hi All!
Today, we worked on solving percent problems. For homework, choose 10 problems to complete on the Lesson 8 Homework worksheet.
Reminder: Test on Chapter 2 is Monday. I gave a review sheet out today that is due on Monday. I will post the answers to the review sheet tomorrow, and we will work on it during class for about 20-30 mins.
To help you study:
DO THE REVIEW SHEET! It is so similar to the test!
Look at your Chapter 2 Quiz, and make sure you can do every problem on it!
Check out the videos in the "Resources" section! They may help you!
See me during WIN time tomorrow!

Today, we continued to work on finding the percent of a number. I posted a video in my Resources section to help you!
Hw: Lesson 7 Homework worksheet #1-12.
UPDATE: Test for Chapter 2 is moved to Monday. I will still hold the review session after school tomorrow until 3pm. Parents pick up by 3pm, or there is a late bus at 4pm.

Hi All!
Today, we used our online program, ALEKS. There is no homework for math tonight.
Reminder: Test for Chapter 2 is Friday. I am available for extra help this week on Tuesday and Thursday until 3pm. Parents will either need to pick up by 3pm, or there is a late bus that can take the students home at 4pm.

We worked on comparing and ordering fractions,decimals, and percents today. Because we are doing a team building activity tomorrow during the school day, and will not have academic classes, your homework is due on Monday for math. Homework: Page 133 #1-8.

Hi All!
I made a mistake on my previous blog post! Due to the Columbus Day holiday, and us not having school on Monday, our quiz will be WEDNESDAY of next week, not Tuesday!
I will be available for a review session after school until 2:45 on Tuesday. There will be a late bus available for students for $1, or someone can pick up at 2:45. Hope to have a big turn out like last time! :)
Today in class, we worked on changing a decimal to a percent, and a percent to a decimal. For homework, complete Page 113 #1-13. If you are having trouble on #13, just attempt it! We will go over it tomorrow!

Reminder: quiz is scheduled for Tuesday of next week. I will have an after-school review session from 2:00-2:45 on Monday of next week for anyone interested. You will need to have a ride at 2:45!
