Algebra Update: Tuesday!
Attached is the picture of the transformation poster that is hanging in my classroom. Remember, your homework tonight is to choose 6 from the Multiple Transformation section of the packet. Remember to create a table for each problem. The table should have the original points, the first transformation labeled A', B', C', etc. and the next transformation labeled A'', B'', C'', etc. Also note that the second transformation is done on the A', B', C' points, not the original.

Welcome back. I hope you enjoyed your vacation week. Here is a breakdown for the week for each of my classes, with any assignments and plans you will need from me!
Period 1:
Monday: Today we graphed exponential functions. Tonight for homework, complete the 6.3 Practice worksheet A #1-10. You will need graph paper.
Tuesday: We will review transformations in the coordinate plane and discuss the rules. For homework, complete the MCAS practice worksheet.
Wednesday: We will play a review game to prepare for the math MCAS. There will be no homework.
Thursday: We will take the Math MCAS and we will not have regular math class. There will be no homework.
Friday: We will take the Math MCAS and we will not have regular math class. There will be no homework.
*Reminder: Because of the month of April being crazy, we did not have many grades in the grade book. Please look at the parent portal, and if you are missing something, get it in! Period 3 and 4:
Monday: Today, we simplified expressions involving negative and zero exponents. For homework, complete 10.4 Practice A and 10.4 Practice B.
Tuesday: We will review all of the exponent properties, and do some scientific notation. For homework, complete the practice worksheet on exponent properties.
Wednesday: We will play a review game to prepare for the math MCAS. There will be no homework.
Thursday: We will take the Math MCAS and we will not have regular math class. There will be no homework.
