In period 1, we wrote and graphed system of equations word problems. For homework, complete Page 239 #3-19 odd. You will need graph paper for a few of the problems.
In period 3 and 4, we wrote equations in slope intercept form from a word problem, when given the slope and a point or given two points. For homework, complete the word problem practice worksheet #1-4.
In period 5, we continued working on graphing slope intercept form equations. For homework, complete the practice worksheet #1-4. Test on graphing is scheduled for Tuesday of next week.

In period 1, we finished our discussion on piece-wise functions. For homework, either finish the graphing classwork, or finish Page 223 #23-30. Remember to write the domain and range for each function. Reminder: Quiz corrections due tomorrow and test on Chapter 4 is Friday.
In period 3 and 4, we wrote equations in point-slope form, and then continued to write the equations in slope intercept form. For homework, finish the point slope form practice from class. Reminder: Quiz Friday.

Monday Update

In Period 1, we continued working on graphing and writing piece-wise functions. For homework, complete Page 222-223 #3-13 odd, 14, 15-19 odd, 23-30 all. Test is scheduled for Thursday of this week on Chapter 4. Quiz corrections on 4.1-4.4 quiz due Wednesday. I am after school tomorrow, Tuesday, from 2-3pm.

In Period 1, we worked on determining the common difference and developing an explicit formula for arithmetic sequences. For homework, finish the 4.6 practice page from class. Use your notes!!
In period 3 and 4, we continued to review for our cumulative test tomorrow. For homework, finish the review sheet if you have not done so. Make sure you study hard and review. Optional Homework: Transformation practice worksheet. I will post the answers on the blog in a few minutes.

In Period 1, we finished our discussion on scatter plots using a graphing calculator to do linear regression. We discussed causation today. For homework, complete Page 207-208 #15, 16, 21-25.
In Period 3 & 4, we continued to review for our cumulative test on Thursday. For homework, finish the review sheet. I will post the answer key in a few minutes.
In Period 5, we found the slope between two points using the slope formula. For homework, finish the partner practice from class. Remember, you are only responsible for 1 column of the practice, unless I gave you different instructions in class. Reminder: Quiz Friday on Slope!

Monday Updates!
Hi All!
In Period 1, we finished our discussion on scatter plots by interpreting the scatter plots and creating lines of fit. For homework, complete Page 199-200 #3-12, 15, 16, 17, 23.
In Period 3 and 4, we graphed equations in standard form using the x and y intercepts. For homework, complete the graphing using intercepts practice and choose 5 problems from the review sheet to complete for class tomorrow. Reminder: Test scheduled for Thursday.
In Period 5, we worked on our stain glass window project, and began discussing slope on a graph. For homework, finish the stained glass window project (if you haven't already!) Reminder: The stain glass window project took the place of your quiz that was scheduled for tomorrow!! SO NO QUIZ :)

In Period 1, we created scatterplots and used lines of fit to model the data. For homework, complete 4.4 Correlations on a Scatterplot. Reminder: Quiz on Friday on writing equations, parallel and perpendicular lines, slope intercept form, point slope form, and scatterplots and correlation.
In Period 3 & 4, we identified analyzed and wrote equations of proportional relationships. For homework, finish the practice from class on proportional relationships. Reminder: Test is scheduled for next Thursday.
In Period 5, we graphed equations not in function form using a table of values. We also began our discussion on horizontal and vertical lines. For homework, complete horizontal and vertical lines practice page. UPDATE: Your quiz is moved to Tuesday of next week instead of Friday of this week!
